Intro: 

The Clowvazar Academy General Education Program is designed for three specific groups of students (1) on-level students (2) students who are not quite on-level but simply need a better structured environment and compassionate teachers and (3) advanced students who need a challenge. Within reason, our curriculum is designed to meet this range of students. As we are a year-round school, we have one week off every three to four weeks (with some exceptions). 

Note: 

Students who have ADD, ADHD, Aspergers, High Functioning Autism, or similar, slight cognitive issues may qualify for this General Education Program. We do offer a special education program for medium to high functioning students. Our Special Education program has different requirements. 

Student Expectations:

All students must be toilet trained, and must not require a nurse or other medical care during the school day. Currently, The Clowvazar Academy is not equipped to accept children with physical disabilities --including limited mobility, severe hearing or visual loss. Students must not display daily harmful aggression, instances of aggression will be subject to disciplinary action. Students are also expected to follow all rules within the Student Handbook. 

Education:

The Clowvazar Academy is not a day-care, both students and parents will be expected to demonstrate will, desire, and determination towards meeting the education goals given to each student as required by Clowvazar Academy learning standards and/or each student’s Individualized Learning Plan developed by Clowvazar staff for the student. During times when care of a child outside of the duties of a Private School is needed, a parent must be available.

It is the policy of The Clowvazar Academy to not admit any student who we feel would not benefit from our private school programs. We do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation.
